UMass Campus Architecture offers an insightful guide to the architectural heritage of the University of Massachusetts campus in Amherst, Massachusetts.

The campus serves as a remarkable representation of various American architectural styles. As one of the nation's oldest land grant public universities, its 1,463-acre landscape encapsulates over 150 years of university history. Nestled in the breathtaking natural surroundings of Western Massachusetts and the Pioneer Valley, the campus showcases the influence of prominent architects like Edward Durell Stone, Marcel Breuer, Kevin Roche, Hideo Sasaki, among others.

Comprising 132 buildings and grounds, UMass Campus Architecture meticulously captures the essence of the UMass campus through elaborate photography, detailed architectural and functional explanations, and historical imagery provided by Special Collections and University Archives at UMass Amherst.

Visitors can delve into the campus's architectural marvels by embarking on a Guided Tour that highlights 42 significant points of interest across the campus with clear walking directions provided between each location.

The platform incorporates a robust search feature facilitating swift filtering of buildings and grounds in the Index by name, architect, or year of completion.
